That momentโฆ ๐ข๐
The deep breath. The tears he tried to hideโฆ
The first to enlist, he carried so much and endured it all quietly...
The very next day after his discharge, he did FESTA, then went straight into filming Run Jin.
After everything, that breath felt like freedom. ๐ญ

Logo Deck featured Shin Myungsup (์ ๋ช ์ญ), the South Korean brand consultant and creative director who is behind the BTS and ARMY logos and they had this beautiful piece written with the post! โฌ๏ธ
"The Door That Opens From Both Sides."
In 2017 BTS became the first Korean act to win a Billboard Music Award and was named by TIME among the 25 most influential people on the internet. That same year, Korean designer Shin Myungsup and his team at PlusX were brought in to rebuild the group's identity. The name was the first problem: Bangtan Sonyeondan, "Bulletproof Boy Scouts,' had been built around defending teenagers from prejudice, and the Korean wordmark read as something else entirely abroad.
Working from producer and member interviews, PlusX redefined the acronym as Beyond The Scene: youth that refuses to settle, stumbling and rising toward something further ahead. The symbol came directly from that sentence. Two angled planes open outward, a door caught mid-swing, with light breaking through the gap.
The clever part is the second mark. ARMY, the group's fandom, was given the same door drawn from the opposite side, seen by those waiting to welcome them through. Placed together, the two symbols close into a single opening. From there the studio proposed carrying the act of opening into every touchpoint: packaging that unfolds like a door, and a concert opening in which an enormous door parts and the members walk out of it.
Recognised at the iF Design Award, the German Design Award, A' Design Award and the IDEA Award, the identity found its real proof elsewhere. Fans began drawing their own versions of the mark, extending a system built to survive constantly changing album concepts.
One door, drawn twice. A symbol that completes only when someone is standing on the other side."
remember when BTS won record of the year at MMA 2022 and they literally played a whole compilation of BTS' achievements in front of the entire kpop industry the gag was INSANE
Nโaw Evan (from BuzzFeed) used to be with MNET and he did a Q&A about working with kpop stars and someone asked him how it was like working with bts and he shared about talking with jin for 2 hours ๐ฅบ๐ฅบ
hobi passed the JYP audition and had an option to go there, but chose Bighit because he trusted his friends. he said, "by that time, I had lived with my friends for over two years. under the circumstance, I was thinking hard about my future. Should I choose another company to debut? Or should I go back to my original company and be with my friends? the answer was very clear. I just trusted my friends. There was something about that place that put my heart at ease. I didn't even care about the company and just went to see my six friends. I went there and I felt like I had found my place. in a way, i think i made the most fateful choice in my life."
