Just watched Harold's breakdown of the play at 2nd base, where the ball got away & Ohtani took third base. As a coach, my question is - where was Rizzo? Shouldn't the 1st baseman trail the runner, & be a backup for the throw? He was just watching the play.

@CoachHoffCurve Agreed! Same for high school basketball coaches... "if you don't play summer basketball, you might not see the floor much in the winter." Ridiculous...especially at 4A and under...if you can play, you will play.

Year number 9 of Curve Baseball is officially in the books. A huge thank you to all the players and parents who made this summer one of the best summers this program has seen! Sometimes words can’t express how happy and thankful I am for such an amazing group of people year in and year out. 6 total championships, and multiple top 3 finishes across 5 high school teams and a 2nd place finish in the KCLB by our college group! ⚾️

We are excited to see what year 10 holds for the purple and orange!
