It was “Eat Concrete” Day in the Capitol. We served nearly 500 servings of G’s Frozen Custard to legislators, their staffs, and statehouse visitors. What a great way to increase awareness of the work our members do across Kansas! #ksleg#RockSolidKS
We had a great week at our 2026 annual convention! We heard from outstanding speakers like @Robertalberino and @tgoff11, had great panelists from the #ksleg and @KDOTHQ, and we revealed our new name and logo! KAPA-KRMCA is now the Kansas Concrete and Aggregate Producers. #KCAP
Thanks to @KSU_Salina for allowing us to have our summer board meeting in the College Center Conference Room. The tour of campus after our meeting was very informative!
Thanks to @GeigerReadyMix for inviting our executive director, @FredPattonKS, to join @SecretaryLCD’s visit to their KCK headquarters. We appreciated the chance to discuss labor issues impacting KAPA-KRMCA members. Thank you, Secretary Chavez-DeRemer, for visiting Kansas. #ksleg
Great turnout at our May Concrete Forum! We dug into why concrete with Portland Limestone Cement is more sensitive to placing/finishing, with thanks to Megan Dangel (Central Plains Cement) for insights on chemistry, scaling, and best practices. #KansasConcrete#KansasAggregates
It was a great afternoon with the Kansas Association of County Planning and Zoning Officials as they toured one of Bayer Construction’s quarries. Bayer is a longtime member of our association.
