The Dells’ generosity is why I have a children’s hospital that I can rush my son to in the middle of the night when he’s in respiratory distress. His pediatrician counted breaths over the phone in the middle of the night and decided we need to rush him in. It turned out to be a virus, and a fairly serious one, and the Dells paid for all of the equipment that was used to locate it as they ran X-rays on my infant son while we sat to the side in silence, praying, as medical experts tended to him. We had already lost and buried our daughter to her genetic condition, and were on pins and needles, and can’t ever thank the Dells enough for the generosity and love that they’ve shown to not only their hometown, but also this nation as a whole.
