"I didn't really know her but i heard she was a good laugh." - Tim is the best character in this. #corrie

I have blogged about The Returned - http://t.co/fLWevfHWjO

Bit of a surprise, but Olivia Colman wasn't that great in RUN. The character was a bit beyond her.

Have blogged about tonight's Coronation Street - http://t.co/fLWevfHWjO

in my opinion (obv)

Soap is at its best when it tackles those little moments in context. (And at its worst when it postures its way in melodrama.)

Excellent tension around a brief casually racist phrase in Coronation Street - and how words like that change everything. Real drama.

Count Arthur Strong - the jury is out. It didn't make me laugh. But I won't give up on it just yet. There's something curious about it.

Ironic that The Returned is up against The White Queen. Genuinely compelling new work v soapy airbrushed history with laughable dialogue

bigger than sum of its parts, and it dares to be a work of art. If anyone tells you UK tv is best in the world - they're wrong #thereturned

The Returned is tv drama of a ridiculously high standard. Intensely emotional, inventive and surprising, perfect cast and soundtrack - 1/2

The archive film on BBC4 of London is really something- curious, eccentric, and moving.

Will miss Snoo Wilson - a great playwright, and man. RIP

Will be reviewing (mainly) British TV Drama... (But my love of French, American, and Scandi-dramas will often shine through.)
