years ago a raccoon started showing up around robinhood's Lake Mary office.

instead of getting rid of her, employees fed her, named her Rocket, made stickers of her and literally gave her a linkedin as “Scavenger at Robinhood.”

she eventually even made it into the Sherwood Forest mural at their office.

this was around 2019.

no token. no chain. no narrative to sell.

just a raccoon that somehow became part of robinhood lore.

fast forward years later and robinhood has its own chain, tokenized stocks are onchain and memestocks are starting to become a real meta.

so the pairing felt pretty obvious.
