I still can’t believe the Rockets couldn’t capitalize on getting a PG before the deadline.
T-Wolves got Ayo Dosunmu for Rob Dillingham, Leonard Miller, 4 Future Second-Round Picks
Hornets got Coby White for Collin Sexton, Ousmane Dieng, and 2 2031 Second-Round Picks
The only teams to not make a trade during the deadline:
Rockets
Heat
Spurs
Rockets decided to keep the same team and run it back next season with a healthy squad.
Or
Maybe seriously make a trade to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo while time runs out for KD during the offseason.
A lineup with:
Aaron Holiday
Josh Okogie
Amen Thompson
DFS
Alperen Sengun
Is absolute dog shit.
Might as well just box and 1 Aaron Holiday and leave everybody open on the perimeter.
THE PAST 3 GAMES AND STILL AN ISSUE !
Ime Udoka and The Rockets can’t seem to figure out double teaming in the NBA. NO ADJUSTMENTS MADE AT ALL ! WTF does this team do in practice and film sessions man.
By my count, Kevin Durant has been doubled/blitzed 61 times over the Rockets' last 3 games vs. the Lakers.
Excluding offensive rebounds, they've scored just 42 points (0.69 PPP) with a whopping 16 turnovers on those possessions.
KD has 20 turnovers overall in those 3 games.
LeBron gets doubled teamed… Passes to a wide open Rui Hachimura for 3, Cash.
Durant gets doubled teamed… Passes to anybody on the team it’s either a turnover or a wide open miss.
It’s the little things that matter and the Rockets can’t seem to figure it out.
That play design from Ime with KD drawing help from Draymond to pass it to a wide open Sengun in the paint to win the game was the Rockets best play all season.
I can’t believe what I just witnessed with my eyes. Maybe the worst loss I have ever seen as a Rockets fan. I might be exaggerating but this team is an absolute joke. The Rockets were up 13 with 2:45 left in OT and just lost. 15-0 run by the Wolves, You can’t make this shit up.
Another massive deal: Brooklyn has a deal with Houston to return the Nets’ 2026 first-round pick for a 2027 Phoenix Suns first-round pick, sources tell ESPN. Rockets also acquire 2025 right to swap Houston/OKC first for 2025 Suns first-round pick. More details coming on picks deal.
