2025 was a transformative year for @RockhopperExplo and the Sea Lion project in the North Falkland Basin.
Having discovered Sea Lion in 2010 and appraised the field across 2011 as 100% Operator, sanctioning Phase 1 marks the most significant milestone since discovery, moving the project firmly towards first oil in 2028.
Rockhopper is now fully funded following the US$142m placings, oversubscribed open offer of US$9.2m, and US$1.0B of senior debt and Navitas loans, helping insulate against inflationary pressures.
@RockhopperExplo looks forward to continuing its partnership with Navitas Petroleum as development progresses towards first oil and the wider unlocking of the basin’s substantial exploration upside.
