We had a visit from Santa today!!! π π¦
The children had such a magical time in Santa's grotto - everyone got the chance to meet him and share their wishes for Christmas and were gifted presents π

We are celebrating Road Safety week π The theme for this year's Road Safety Week is "Safe Vehicles Save Lives". This campaign focuses on how safe, roadworthy vehicles and modern vehicle safety technology can help prevent crashes and protect people in case of an accident π¦πΈ
Children and staff took part in a two-minute silence today for Remembrance Day, coming together to honour and remember those who fought and sacrificed for our freedom π«‘
We're looking forward to celebrating Children in Need next Friday 14th November! Children are invited to wear spotty or bright clothing as part of the event and there will be donation buckets on the gates in the morning to raise money for such a good cause π°πͺ£
Next week is Anti Bullying Week and the theme for 2025 is 'Power for Good'. The children will be completing various PSHE activities and assemblies to promote and understand what bullying is and what to do if they ever witness or experience it.
We'd like to thank all those for their generous Harvest donations, which have helped us share kindness and support for those in need this season π Our Student Council sorted through the donations and were positively shocked to see how much we had!
We've had such a great start to the year and we have so much more to come! Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and safe half term π

What a fantastic day we had yesterday for our African Workshop Day as part of our Black History Month celebrations πΏπ¦ EYFS and KS1 took part in African Drumming meanwhile KS2 took part in African Dancing πͺπ
What a fantastic first day back we have had at Rockingham today. The children were keen and engaged in their classrooms and all looked so smart in their uniform! π«π We can't wait to see what the rest of the term brings!
Yesterday we had the pleasure of taking part in a gymnastics workshop with @GraceHarrison43 . The children had a great time and we certainly have a few gymnasts in the making!
