@VickiSchmidtKS The Kansas Health Care Prompt Payment Act requires a response within thirty days and we are going on 90+ days. As the person in charge of the Kansas Department of Insurance how are you handling the dozens of providers across the state waiting to be paid for their work
@VickiSchmidtKS Maybe if you answer the question I asked a few days ago. None of the insurance providers are paying their clinicians in a timely manner. To see a client and still not be paid 3 months+ later is crazy. Is this how you will handle your constituents?
@VickiSchmidtKS Hi Vicki! I’m curious as to what you’re doing to address the issues that practitioners are having with insurance providers paying claims in a timely fashion. As a therapist, waiting 12+ weeks to get paid for one claim is unacceptable as we have bills and overhead to pay too
@GovLauraKelly Hi! I am wondering if you had any info on why BlueCross Blueshield is taking so long to process claims from clinicians? My partner and I are located in Kansas and filed claims back in late May/Early June and have seen $0 payments from them. We are both therapists. Ty!
@LaRochePosayInt@AcyMjv Please, bring it back. I’m in the exact same boat and tried the Mela B3 trying to be optimistic but it dries out my skin and I have pimples again 😭
@ToyuhGee I’ve been doing a little brunching out there - can’t go wrong with Denver Biscuit Company, imo. We have heard great things about Lula Southern Cookhouse. Other places we have liked: Pinstripes (all you can eat, kinda bougie), Homegrown, and Urban Egg.
