It is infuriating that every year, especially around Christmas,people try to use the fact that Jesus was born in a manger for a political purpose. The real insult is that the facts of the birth in the manger not remotely analogous to their point. In fact Mary & Joseph were not homeless! Importantly, ICE could not have cared less: Joseph was “of the House of David” and therefore had to go to the City of Bethlehem, to be taxed precisely because he was NOT an illegal!
