I’m convinced that once we’re in heaven, we will never regret letting go of wrongs and forgiving others in the same way our Father has forgiven us. We will only regret the bitterness we harbored and the anger we held on to while on earth.
Things Jesus DIDN’T say his followers would be known for:
• Their theology degree
• How many Bible verses they quote
• People groups they're against
• Their church attendance
Things he said they WOULD be known for:
• The way they love.
Worship reminds our trembling hearts and shaky knees that our God is mighty, our God is loving, and our God is more than able.
It both quiets us and strengthens us. And then it prepares us for what lies ahead.
Yes. Worry less. Worship more. It truly is the best battle plan.
When you are hurt, grieve it and forgive. Forgiveness is as vital to your mental health as your digestive tract is to your physical health. It is the way that we metabolize and remove waste from the system of a relationship.
Often we're quick to remember others’ hurtful words but slow to remember God’s healing words.
Let's set our minds on things above by choosing to remember God’s words, repeat God’s words, and believe God’s words about us.
We must let God’s Word become the words of our story.
