Paul just had the same conversation with my barber today in Hornchurch
Had to go for a blood test by Becontree station. Went through Old Dagenham Village via the Heathway , the old John Collier shop is now a Hallal meat shop, had the blood test on the way home via Five Elms and I literally didn’t see a white face till I saw a bunch of kids outside the West Ham training ground at Rush Green. Combination of heartbreak and anger to what has happened to the place I grew up
