@arkavx ****Spoiler Alert****
He's a Ghola (clone from a dead body). He's resurrected at least 6 times in the books. The truly sad thing is, Duncan is a trap meant to kill Paul...but Paul has prescience. He knows this is a trap-yet he welcomes him b/c of how much he misses his friend.
Finland just pushed electricity through open air. No cable. First ever nation to achieve this.
Researchers at the University of Helsinki and the University of Oulu fired high-intensity ultrasonic waves to carve an invisible channel through the air, then guided a spark down it.
Lasers handle the rest. Power-by-light beams energy to receivers where you really don't want a conductor: nuclear plants, high-voltage stations.
Radio-frequency harvesting pulls microwatts from ambient waves, enough to retire millions of disposable sensor batteries.
Tesla unveils a ‘real’ flying car, headed for production in 2028. The Roadster can fly, drive upside down, and hit 60 mph in 0.59 seconds using SpaceX-derived compressed-air thrusters fed by 600 liters of compressed air. The car generates 4-5x more force than its tires can handle, features a suction system capable of holding it to surfaces at 2G, and has a long-term top speed target of 380 mph.
German engineering firm GICON has raised the world's tallest wind turbine to 365 metres in Schipkau, eastern Germany, using a telescoping lattice tower and bridge-building jacks to lift a 3.8 MW turbine to a 300-metre hub. We break down how it was built, why the wind up there is worth chasing, and the cost and yield questions it still has to answer when it switches on in November.
Boston Dynamics' Handle robot is designed for warehouses, using a rear counterweight and suction grippers to efficiently and smoothly move heavy loads.
Honda began developing humanoid robots in 1986 with E0, a basic two-legged machine that took 15 seconds to complete a single step. After 14 years and 10 prototypes spanning the E-series and P-series, Honda unveiled ASIMO in 2000. Capable of walking and climbing stairs, ASIMO later gained running abilities and increasingly advanced autonomous functions, becoming one of the most iconic humanoid robots ever built.
Google has released Gemini 4 Argon, its new frontier model, and showed it teaching Apptronik's Apollo humanoid to play cornhole from a single video of a person. Argon mapped the scene, built its own physics simulation and refined the throws on the real robot, which then sank seven shots in a row.
Meet Reid Rupp. He's the owner of JP Exteriors in Austin, TX.
Folks in Austin should avoid doing any business with this turd.

Straight up racist MAGA trash.
Shame on you Reid.
Commonwealth Fusion Systems will lead a US Department of Energy Genesis Mission project to build an AI-enabled digital twin of SPARC, its fusion machine under construction in Massachusetts. Working with four national labs, NVIDIA and Google DeepMind, the team aims to predict a full plasma pulse in under 20 minutes, fast enough to guide decisions between experiments.
Tesla's Megapack is an RV-sized battery that stores power for the grid when it's plentiful and sends it back when demand climbs. Each unit holds up to about 3.9 MWh, and Tesla says more than 77 GWh is now running in over 65 countries. In August 2026, production of the bigger 5 MWh Megapack 3 began at Tesla's new factory in Texas.
Okay this is genuinely insane.
SpaceX just unveiled a satellite whose only job is to run AI. Not internet. Not GPS. Just compute, floating in orbit.
It's called AI1, and the reason behind it breaks your brain.
AI data centers on Earth are hitting a wall, not a chip wall, a physics wall.
They need staggering amounts of power and water just to stay cool, and we're running out of grid and land to build them.
So Musk's answer is: stop building them on Earth.
In orbit, the sun never sets. Free power, 24/7. No water for cooling, you just radiate heat into the vacuum of space. The two things choking AI on the ground barely exist up there.
And here's the wild part: Musk says it's easier to build than a Starlink satellite. Strip out the complex antennas and it's "a lot of solar cells, a radiator, and some laser links."
One AI1 carries the compute of an Nvidia GB300 rack, the same hardware data centers fight over down here.
AI1 is just the first one. The plan is a constellation of up to a million of them.
And the timing isn't an accident, SpaceX goes public this week at a ~$1.75 trillion target. This isn't a rocket company anymore. It's positioning itself as the power grid for AI, in space.
The race for AI compute just left the planet. Literally.
Houston-based Deployable Energy will test its 1 MWe Unity nuclear battery at full power inside DOME, Idaho National Laboratory's 100-foot-tall microreactor test bed, in 2027. DOME is built inside the old containment dome of the EBR-II reactor and can host fuelled experiments of up to 20 MW thermal, and Deployable Energy will be only the second company to test there, after Radiant.
Figure AI has decommissioned its F.02 humanoid fleet by training the robots to leap autonomously into molten steel at a foundry in Imatra, Finland, a send-off Arnold Schwarzenegger suggested on X. The company says it had to destroy the robots to protect its IP after foundries in the US and Mexico refused to take machines with lithium-ion batteries, and it is turning the recovered metal into commemorative artifacts.
Authorities in Texas have released body camera footage recorded by an Austin police officer following Sunday's shooting of a 28-year-old Venezuelan man by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer. https://t.co/Cn3Z3PkMaM
