I’m participating in Scarlet & Give Back Day because Grinnell College was transformative for me, and because equity in education matters. Grinnell is one of a very few top liberal arts colleges that offer needs-blind admissions. https://t.co/NyQ1kwUmaX #GivingtoGrinnell

“Elon Musk admitted to his biographer that the reason the Hyperloop was announced—even tho he had no intention of pursuing it—was to try to disrupt the California high-speed rail project to get in the way of that actually succeeding.” — @ParisMarx@Gizmodo https://t.co/qj5WyO4oGR
@JohnBauters@California_HCD Congratulations for getting the job done in the first pass! Would you like to move to Cupertino and help JR and Sheila fix our mess? I suspect it will take years at the rate we've been going.
That's two ABAG cities that have achieved compliance on DRAFT 1--Emeryville and Alameda. That's what happens when you take this process seriously and try. My city? It hasn't even submitted a draft yet and we no longer have a consultant to help make it happen.
This is Cupertino's future starting February 1 because our council couldn't get its act together to pass a compliant Housing Element in time. Even today, the Planning Commission was musing over how everything is going to be fine. Just breathtaking incompetence.
I can't believe I actually have to say this, but this rhetoric is wrong and dangerous. It shows just how insidious Big Oil's climate denial is.

A show you're sure to enjoy! We re-write lyrics to familiar tunes to create first-rate political satire, a benefit for the Los Altos Stage Company. Ask me about tickets: [email protected].
@grace_hase Sad that Cupertino is one of a handful of cities endorsing this poorly written measure, which the League of California Cities, usually protective of local control, has recognized.
