@CathyWurzer You made me laugh with your just-now reference to “biblical gridlock.” Scratching my head about cars in the Bible. But then Pharaoh’s army did have that water hazard, I suppose. 😁 Welcome back! Huge fan of the broadcast.
@megynkelly I don’t understand the thrill some people get out of being jerks, whether for their own enjoyment or for a living. But on the issue itself: https://t.co/mVFrLiEm72
@cjp_still It happens. Sounds like copyright infringement. Short of paying an attorney to send a formal cease-and-desist, you might send certified mail requesting acknowledgement of your work and a link to where listeners can buy it. Then chill. The gear-grinding is very taxing.
@tinyrevver Do it! That was the beauty of some talk radio shows - just people kicking things around and you never knew where it might go. Very relaxing to listen to.
@AngelaDavisMPR@MPRnews@CarlsonNews@cfarrellecon “Stay interviews” are sometimes reconnaissance on employees’ intentions, a level of transparency most companies do not reciprocate when they announce layoffs under consideration for months.
@AngelaDavisMPR@MPRnews@CarlsonNews@cfarrellecon “Stay interviews?” Sure. Non-financial recognition? Good idea. On-site social event? Why not? But it seems businesses are too often casting about for actions they can take short of raising pay, increasing job security, and improving staffing levels. It’s sleight of hand.
I took this photograph of the 2017 total solar eclipse. I’ve been revisiting it ever since and pushing it to the absolute extreme … revealing crazy details within the solar corona.
It looks freaking amazing. But, let’s be honest, I am a bit biased in my opinion of this one 😂
@palak_jayswal@sltrib Did the @Deseret News pay for product placement? It reminds one of the bromide “A camel is a horse built by committee.” That flag is one ugly camel. 🐫
“Work is work! If it wasn’t work, they wouldn’t call it work. They’d call it ‘Super wonderful crazy fun time,’ or ‘Skippity doo!’” said Red Forman. We’ll talk the opposing view today at #HFC22.
@thauserkstp@LaVelleNeal As I wrote in 2020 after Dan Bailey’s “terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day,” Carlson “is not a bad kicker. He is a great kicker who once had a very bad day.” https://t.co/qrR3Txix7T
