@BMcGrewvy Just gotta block Cathy. Every post she makes is like someone took the correct opinion, inverted it, then posted it in the most smug way possible.
I have never once seen something of hers that did anything other than frustrate or annoy.
@politicalmath I work in legal tech and we very much are of the opinion that AI can do law.
What parts of law or can do is a very relevant question, however.
@wrongbutkind I'm thankful that one of our selling points is "human-in-the-loop", where we rely heavily on AI for the product, but the categories it works within get (significant) human input.
@preptodye My 11yo has multiple books over 300 pages on the go right now (we've given her a bedside stack limit of 10 books so it won't hurt her too much if it falls on her).
All our kids have read books consistently since they were very young, and none have been concerned with size.
@onlyasjack@TheEmohawk@TheAliceSmith It's basically Foundation fan-fiction. Uses a few of the same names, but is very definitely not the same characters or story.
If you go into it knowing that, you can still enjoy it.
@politicalmath Each of my kids has a stack of books next to their bed (I guess I do too!) and read pretty much every night.
For two of them, the most effective punishment we had was "I'm taking your books; no reading!"
If what you mean by "nothing" is what any reasonable person would call "something", you haven't suggested anything other than your willingness to obfuscate instead of elucidate!
@johnpauldickson Also, if what you mean by "nothing" is what any reasonable person would call "something", you also haven't proven anything other than your willingness to obfuscate instead of elucidate!
