People need to stop volunteering to do field sobriety tests. In my opinion, they’re subjective and can easily be affected by things that have nothing to do with alcohol or drugs. Some people naturally have bloodshot or glassy eyes, especially when they’re tired. Others have back or neck problems, balance issues, or are simply nervous during a traffic stop.

If you’re accused of DUI or DWI, know your rights and make informed decisions. A field sobriety test isn’t the same as a blood test, and many factors can affect how you perform. If law enforcement decides to arrest you, don’t argue let your attorney handle the legal process.

I’m frustrated because I’ve seen how quickly someone’s life can be turned upside down based on subjective observations. Everyone deserves to be treated fairly, and investigations should rely on accurate evidence rather than assumptions.
