@JustFedUpOnX@nielsonTSN1260 He didn’t say west, he said division. Big difference. Have a look at the whole league. There are at least 5 teams that have more NMC’s than the oilers.
@bifforama94@JasonGregor Being rich doesn’t make you a good evaluator of hockey players and give you the ability to build a successful team of players. There’s a reason why some of the most successful teams have the least involved ownership.
@SportsnetSpec You are correct, but how can the officials say it was a goal on the ice when there wasn’t one even close to being behind the goal line to actually see it?? That’s the biggest issue here. Were they guessing based on the Ducks reaction??
@nielsonTSN1260 I realize that Knobby’s extension kicks in next season, but is it a stretch to say that he’s staking his job on this goaltending decision??
@allankherman@DavidStaplesYEG@dstaples You guys all miss the point. It’s not just about the raise. It’s about fixing the classroom conditions to ensure ALL students get the care and attention they deserve. If such CONCRETE plans were part of the offer, I’m willing to bet that the teachers would have accepted it.
@worldrealist1@DavidStaplesYEG@dstaples That’s not a raise, that’s working your way up the pay grid based on time served and years of education. Tell me, how much was a 10 year teacher earning in 2012. And how much are they making now. Then tell me how much our MLA’s were making in 2012, and how much they make now.
@worldrealist1@DavidStaplesYEG@dstaples By all means, please back up your numbers with proof. Please show me where the teachers got a 6% raise. And 80% for a first year?? Come on….. get real.
@th88nsr @KanadianDane@DavidStaplesYEG@dstaples It’s not about having it easy, it’s about having a large class that also has a significant number of students that have complex learning issues like learning disabilities, mental health issues, language barriers, etc and the teacher not having the time to help everyone properly
@KanadianDane@DavidStaplesYEG@dstaples Actually they won’t. Not with a proper phased in approach that allows time for more schools to be built and more teachers to be hired, just as the ATA proposed. Thank you for the name calling by the way, it certainly helps to understand your level of intellect.
@tomzonks@DavidStaplesYEG@dstaples BigZ, that’s correct. My point is that using a simple average is not an accurate way to represent the issue. Population density varies widely throughout the province. The only way to properly address the issue is class size caps.
