This may be one of the most shocking firsthand videos from September 11, capturing the South Tower collapsing as terrified people run for cover.
25 years later, the terror of that moment remains unimaginable. 😟
President Trump Just Posthumously Awarded The Medal of Freedom To The Legendary 'Man In The Red Bandana' Who Sacrificed His Life Saving Others on 9/11
Welles Crowther was a 24-year-old equities trader from Upper Nyack, New York, working on the 104th floor of the South Tower on 9/11. He was also a volunteer firefighter.
After the plane hit, he tied a red bandana over his face, found a stairwell that still worked, and went down to the 78th-floor sky lobby. Survivors later described a man in a red bandana who said “follow me.” He put out fires blocking the exit, directed people who could walk, carried a badly burned woman on his back, and led them down about 17 floors to safety.
Then he went back up. He made multiple trips between the sky lobby and the stairs. After leading a second group down, he climbed again to look for more people. He was last seen with FDNY firefighters. His body was found months later in the South Tower lobby, near firefighters and close to the exit.
Welles saved 18 lives that day.
A true American hero.
“ARE YOU GUYS READY? OKAY. LET’S ROLL.”
On September 11, 2001, Todd Beamer boarded United Airlines Flight 93 for a business trip to San Francisco.
He was just 32 years old.
A husband. A father of two little boys. And his wife, Lisa, was pregnant with their third child—a daughter Todd would never get to hold.
After Flight 93 was hijacked, Todd tried to call his wife from an onboard Airfone. Instead, he was connected with telephone operator Lisa Jefferson.
As passengers learned through phone calls what had already happened in New York and Washington, they came to a terrifying realization:
Their plane was likely headed toward another target.
And they made a decision.
They would fight back.
Todd and other passengers began planning to rush the cockpit. Before they did, Todd asked Jefferson to pray with him.
Then she heard the words that would become part of American history:
“Are you guys ready? Okay. Let’s roll.”
The passengers and crew fought back.
At 10:03 a.m., Flight 93 crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. All 40 passengers and crew members were killed.
But the plane never reached its intended target.
Months later, Todd’s daughter Morgan was born. She would know her father through photographs, stories, and the legacy of courage he left behind.
Todd Beamer was one of 40 ordinary people aboard Flight 93 who found themselves facing an unimaginable choice that morning.
They chose to act.
They never made it home.
But because they fought back, countless others may have.
Twenty-five years later, we still remember their names, their courage, and the words that became a symbol of American resolve:
“LET’S ROLL.” 🇺🇸
Remembering Todd Beamer and every passenger and crew member aboard United Flight 93.
May we never forget. 💙🇺🇸

Street takeovers endanger innocent lives.
In Atlanta, a Georgia State Patrol trooper stopped a reckless driver when a black F-150 doing donuts fled through a crowd and struck pedestrians.
He executed a textbook PIT, jumped onto the hood of his cruiser, and pulled the driver out at gunpoint.
