Lawrence: “Identifying how breathtakingly stupid donald trump is has been one of the lonely pursuits of this particular hour of television. In most of the rest of the news media it’s assumed he has some kind of reason4why he says&does things…the only constant is his stupidity.”

In August 1888, Fort Davis received an ice-making machine, which was a remarkable luxury for an isolated frontier garrison in the mountains of West Texas. The machine was installed in the former quarters of the post's military band, and the ice it produced was particularly valuable for treating sick soldiers and preserving food.
Unfortunately, the contraption consumed enormous quantities of fuel, broke down frequently, and became the subject of a bitter feud between the post surgeon, Dr. John Lauderdale, and the quartermaster, Joseph Partello. Lauderdale accused Partello of misappropriating construction materials and cheating the medical department on fuel deliveries. He privately described the quartermaster as a "selfish pig." Then, on June 23, 1889, the icehouse caught fire and burned, leaving the garrison without its precious supply of ice. The resulting investigation produced a 41-page report but failed to settle the dispute over the fuel.
Can you imagine? It's 1889. Here you are out in the desert, you've got a freakin' ice-making machine, and it's working: you've got actual ice in WEST TEXAS! But, of course, folks can never get along with each other and they start fighting over it and, next thing you know, it's gone.
Was it Roseanne Roseannadanna who said "It's always something?" Sigh ...
Shown here: A view of Fort Davis circa 1880. Remarkable photo, don't you think?
There’s only one real victim here…and that’s me. I don’t understand how anyone could say I followed them when I was already in the right lane..heading to Chiloso.
The young adult was to my right, and his friend was behind me just before we went through the light. As soon as the light turned green, he hit the gas and cut right in front of me. I wasn’t upset... But when I turned right into Chiloso, his buddy hit the brakes and stopped his car. The friend who had been behind me sped around me to get in front of him. The guy who later said he would shoot me got out of the car, apparently to mess with his friend.
I leaned out the window and told them to stop driving recklessly before they hurt somebody. After that, I drove around them looking for a parking spot. The guy who had threatened to shoot me pulled up beside me, said he was going to shoot me, then hit the gas, parked, and jumped out of the car talking shit. I started talking shit back. He said, “I got something for you,” and went back to his car as if he were about to get a gun. I told him, “If you pull that gun, you better use it, because otherwise I’m about to beat your ass.”
He went from threatening to shoot me to recording me on his phone. I slapped the phone out of his hand, and he called the police right after that. Honestly, I’m waiting to hear the recording where someone supposedly called and said there was a gun involved. As soon as the officers arrived, the young adult and I were talking trash back and forth. I don’t understand why the officer got out of the car and pointed a rifle directly at me.
A lot of y’all need to use your brains..Why would I follow them? They’re not important to me. Stay tuned..my team and I are going to get to the bottom of this…
