First: If ONE THIRD of Haitian TPS holders are supposedly holding up ENTIRE PARTS of the American healthcare system, that is NOT an argument for EXTENDING TPS.

That is literally an admission that America has allowed entire industries to build staffing models around people who were never guaranteed permanent legal status in the first place.

You cannot import a temporary population, let institutions become dependent on them, and then turn around years later and say, “Well now we can’t possibly enforce the law because too many employers rely on them.”

That’s insane. In fact, that’s evil and anti-American.

Your “Haiti is unstable” argument is even worse.

Haiti has been unstable for years. Decades, honestly. If instability alone means TPS can NEVER end, then just be honest and say you support permanent residency.

Stop pretending the word “temporary” still means anything. While you’re at it… stop pretending you’re a conservative because you clearly are not.

Because under this logic, TPS ends only when the country becomes safe, stable, prosperous, democratic, gang-free, and capable of absorbing returnees peacefully.

That is a fantasy.

And now every time the deadline approaches, you same people make the same argument: not now, not yet, just six more months, just one more extension, just until conditions improve.

Then six months becomes six years. Six years becomes twenty. And anyone who notices this stupid and insane scam gets called mean.

The actual “mean” policy is lying to everyone involved.

If Congress wants to create a PERMANENT legal pathway, then Congress should vote on it and own the consequences.

But you won’t do that because you know that we the voters will turn on you because then you’ll just be a DEMOCRAT ushering in mass migration, so you cower behind TPS instead.

But stop abusing emergency programs to accomplish what you do not have the courage to pass.

Temporary Protected Status either means temporary, or it means nothing.
