-Bachelor of Sceince (BSc) Chemical Engineering-UCT
-Master of Science (MSc)
Petroleum Engineering- University of London
-Masters of Business Administration, MBA -UCT
-Diploma from Imperial Collage London in the field of earth science
Dan is a member of the University of jhb Engineering advisory board
Dan also served as a member of the UK High Commission Management Board in South Africa.
Dan previously worked in Eskom as head of group capital but was FORCED out in 2015 by Jacob Zuma and the evil Gupta family as per the Zondo commission report. The report said his suspension from Eskom “was a crucial step to pave the way for the capture of Eskom by the Gupta family”
Dan Marokane did not want to have anything to do with state capture. He has always been an honest anti corruption man. Dan is currently acting CEO of Tongaat Hulett. Trade union Solidarity even named Dan is the best candidate to be CEO of Eskom earlier this year. Dan is a highly experienced and motivated executive in the energy sector. He has an excellent track record. He has world class academic credentials. Dan Marokane is definitely the perfection man for the job. When one speaks of black excellence, Dan is the perfect example of that. I am sure every South African wants Dan to succeed in this position.
