@citynewscalgary The threat was later identified as a comedian hiding amongst the crowd who was preparing to roast Trump. As there was immediate danger of his delicate feeling getting hurt, he was immediately removed from the vicinity of the danger
@19Morganr@dacshunder@EricFrancis Exactly... Better to talk about it openly now and hope that it improves as the season rounds out. Don't want those bad habits slipping to next season
@BuresFlow@nozuka842007@MikeBartner Sure... Don't you guys too? I don't know how many times I've been told by Canucks fans that they won the Stanley Cup in 1915 as the Vancouver Millionaires. So which is it?!
@BuresFlow@nozuka842007@MikeBartner Also, it's even more impressive that Calgary managed to win a cup in 89 without selecting in the top 5 ever. The highest selection they had was 6th overall in 1984.
@underdog_113@Bill1740305@FierySharky@frank_seravalli You should be familiar then with the rebuild process in Calgary. They did a rebuild around 2011-15 when Iggy got traded and they drafted Bennett, Monahan, Tkachuk, Gaudreau and Andersson. Took less than 5 years then
@MichelleMaxwell Gives him a solid couple of minutes a day to reminisce about how those underage girls "polished" him off while he polishes his shoes. Wonder what he'll be polishing once he gets thrown in Peso jail?!
@DaneHunter87@SK88277280@TSN_Sports@BarDown The draft is a crapshoot, outside of the top 10 drafted. Tell me, what round was Weegar selected in? How about Andersson? Gaudreau? Wolf? I'll give you a hint... Definitely not the first round
@ReaganNhl@FlamesNation Parayko turned down the offer that Buffalo slapped together. When you're as bad as Buffalo and have a reputation as being a bad place to play, you NEED to overpay to attract talent. That offer was an overpayment
@ReaganNhl@BumfOnline@FlamesNation Interesting take... Parayko was playing the best players in the world in the tournament whereas Weegar didn't even make an Olympic roster. Love Weegs but Parayko is a better player right now
@mars23tele@ChrisIve@MollieeWalkerr Long ago. This changed in the 93-94 season. The format has changed many times but it's been east vs west since the 93-94 season. NHL has the history of the Playoff format on their site.

@erik_thorvalds Cry a little louder, bud. Penalties were even right until the end of the game. 2 penalties by Canada in period 1, then 2 penalties by Finland in Period 2. No penalties in the 3rd until 2:30 min left in the game for an obvious high stick. How is that "handing Canada the game"?!
