Second week of patch birding! After a few very cold days with no new species, today a Greater Scaup was present and a Barn Owl flew by, putting the patchlist to 90 species! Amazing views today with the last ice on the Wadden sea and the scaup as a real #patchgold #dpwc2024

Ook ik mocht deze bijzondere verrekijker al testen bij het Vogelinformatiecentrum. Een knap staaltje techniek die verrekijker en camera combineert. Voor op reis, als beginner of als groepsvogelaar/excursieleider een mooie toevoeging. Kom hem testen bij het Vogelinformatiecentrum!

Laatst mochten wij naar Swarovski om in het geheim de nieuwste AX Visio te testen. De 1e Slimme Verrekijker die alle vogels zelf kan determineren en fotograferen. Lees hier onze ervaringen. Het 1e exemplaar hebben we in huis, dus kom zelf testen.

@ThomasvanderEs Ja goed hè. Maar dat nonnetje en die grote zaagbek zitten mij dan weer dwars😅. Je waardeert de kleine dingen weer net iets meer zo rond Skil.

Patch birding! Trying to see as many bird species as possible within 3 km2 in 2024. A few highlights of the 1st week from the Oudeschild patch: red-breasted, all brent geese and bewicks swan. Also enjoying the smaller things, such as stonechat, little gull & dunlin. #dpwc2024
