If the answer is no, (it is) then you need to try to build for when you will be able to beat those teams.

@LukeLapinski Agreed, but also this model isn’t as sustainable. You still need a bona fide superstar, and have to hit on several vets all at the right price points at the right moments in their careers. If you miss, it’s not as easy to reset year after year.

@shoewizard59 @mickjason Tickets are more affordable than some sports, but still too much for a lot of families to attend 82 home games. I feel like doing half prices for kids under 12 would help a ton.

But if you want to build the team the right way, you gotta focus more on the trenches. Good RBs are nice, but most of them have a 3-5 shelf life anyway.

@LukeLapinski I think the offensive line is a bigger concern. I hope they address that first, and take a flier in a QB in rounds 2-4.

I think history has shown you can’t adequately develop rookie QBs without good protection around them.

@Bickley_Marotta I’m in the minority, but I don’t blame Leavitt for potentially leaving. Loyalty is important, but you gotta make the best decision for yourself.

If anything, blame the system that allows this type of thing to happen.

@Bickley_Marotta ASU will be good, but I think it’s completely unfair to expect a team to win a division with 16 teams. One bad game or injury can sink the season, and that is only human.

@Bickley_Marotta I don’t think it’s fair to ask much more from Booker. While he had a down year last year to his standards, he has a real history of excellence.

We’ve yet to truly see sustained excellence from Murray at all.

@Bickley_Marotta Dbacks just before and after the WS. Was a kid and loved that team. Finley, Gonzo, Womack, RJ, Schilling, Grace, Dorazo…on and on.
