Learned Bloxshade got caught in crossfire of the anti-cheat initiatives Roblox put out recently. That team has been trying to get shaders back for the Roblox community - with no response from Roblox.
It would be great if a Roblox engineer or someone in this department would at least respond to their DevForum post or make a stance on the area of developer-created shaders - since Roblox doesn't currently have plans to introduce shaders natively.
Most of the time we're told as developers from Roblox that if it doesn't exist, we should create it - in this case, this team created a way for the community to have shaders, and according to the developer it poses no security risk with how the rendering API works, so it shouldn't have been effected by the new anti-cheat.
If they don't receive any sort of help to resolve this issue or a statement from Roblox of their stance on shaders, it disincentivizes creators from creating cool and useful features for the Roblox community and it's developers in the future. Please help them or acknowledge them at the very least.
