Three teachers at my mother's elementary school have received concussions from different students in the last two months. They have undergone self defense training to protect themselves against violent kids using special mats so the kids don't get hurt. None of the kids have received any punishment, not even sent home for the day. Kids today are out of control and this is one of the reasons we homeschool ours.

The move was made illegal after the 1976 Olympics. This clip of Bonaly is from the 1998 Olympics. So yes, it had been banned for over 20 years.

She was injured and knew she wouldn't place, so she did this move in free skate, because why not. The result of doing the banned move was just a deduction of points. Not a DQ or anything.
