@iamcoachval What caught my attention was Azzi Fudd at #28. Which means 27 guards received at least 1 top 4 vote. In a league with 30-35 starting guards, 80 or so guards total, are there actually 27 guards so good to be considered top 4 level? So I wonder how seriously the players took this.

@atrupar Washington was not the President on July 4th, 1777. He became President in 1789. Teddy Roosevelt was not the President on July 4th, 1901. It was William McKinley. Roosevelt became President later that year when McKinley was assassinated.

The next season 34-31 without MJ, 13-4 with MJ not in basketball shape. Next season, 72-10 with a chip. Better with MJ.

@DayDreamThis DEI woman hire? Criticizing some of her strategy is fair. But is there any evidence that an advanced male coach is better than an advanced female coach? A male coach with a generational talent blew a 29 point lead in the NBA final with worse coaching than any I've seen from SW.

@hovah76 I get your point, but I think we should separate the stans from CC herself. Yes, we have seen CC butt heads with coaches. That's an issue. But I have never seen her blame teammates for her or the team's shortcomings. Stans do it, but let's not punish her for the stan's actions.

@wolf298d @scaryman42 Cynthia Cooper has the record for a rookie. 22.2/game. But she was 34 years old and that was the first year of the league. For a true rookie Seimone Augustus has the highest average, 21.9, followed by A'ja at 20.7 and Cappie Poindexter with 19.5

Marina Mabrey and Skylar Diggins are both known for crashouts, and it has been noted. Both are fine players. Neither has been called the GOAT.

@stoolpresidente Ever? Nah, the 1978 Washington Bullets won the franchise's only championship despite finishing the regular season 44-38. Only 3 teams won even 50 games that season and none of them made the finals. Bullets beat a 47 win Seattle Sonics team in 7 games to claim the title.

I will just ask since both are high volume 3pt shooters, who gives you the better chance to win the game, the 42% shooter, or the 33% shooter? Selling jerseys is great, but ultimately you play to win the game.

@Major_Mike @WNBA_Analyst But there is still no comparison. The women on average shoot 34%. That puts her at -1 from the average. The men shoot 36%. That puts Curry at +6. If she shot 40% you might have an argument. But she doesn't, and she hasn't since her freshman year at Iowa.

One is among the all time leaders, the other is in middle to below middle of the pack among shooters THIS year. They are not same, not even close. Get it?

He shoots off the drive, the catch, step back, the total package, with range. And he is the only 20+ppg scorer of the top 20.

@ali284400 It's an entirely different roster by their own choosing. They didn't keep Natasha Howard. Ppl on this platform cheered. She didn't fit with run and gun offense CC likes. Doing well in MN though. Her strengths are exactly what the Fever lack. But they can run and gun. Oh well.

Now, if you take out their worst stretch (1-8 start) AND their best stretch (7-1 right after the Olympics) you are left with 24-22 (.522) Is that good enough to sustain the type of economic explosion this person is describing? In LA?
