Forest fires start and evolve due to various factors. In this, my first paper published in 2019, we look for the effect of volcanism and vegetation on fires occurred under three climate stages during the Late Pleistocene in Central Mexico. Research done at @InstGeolUNAM.

Last week I had the opportunity to visit the #MARUM Facility at Bremen. I did XRF scanning of these beautiful sediment cores from the ODP Site 662 as part of our project at @LIAG_Research to reconstruct the climate variability of the last 3.6 Myr. Amazing experience! @ECORD_IODP
