@MbvBaryonix The claws don't need to be able to slash a Tarbosaurus in half either in order to be effective deterrents. A predator just needs to understand that if those bony, pointy bits being shaken at their face have any chance of poking an eye out, it might not be worth it at all.
@thegnarlyghost I'm doing this while also understand why it sucks we have to. Copyright law is ridiculous. A trillion years after the death of the author. People should have the right to expand and retell the stories they grew up with, it's been that way since we told our stories in caves.
@Webboy998@SandyofCthulhu "Oh, no one claps when I drive my car without killing anyone, but the moment I flatten a toddler I'm charged for "vehicular manslaughter" and all the weight of the state and people's judgment fall on me?"
@silver_gold4@WeAreWilderness Straight out of Jurassic Park. It's amazing how bravely and quite effectively they hold their formation against one type of predator, but quickly scatter to a different strategy when a much more powerful one arrives.
@Chocokendi_Art@dunethar Haha, Yeah, I thought that! I'm not a brony (do people still use that term) or anything, but they already did the homework for how to make cute western cartoon style horse-girls for us, so if it ain't' broke..
@arvalis@MattBruenig Palmer, this is a Blue Tick account. They say stupid, wrong, inflamatory stuff because it makes them money. Disengage and scroll past.
@Chocokendi_Art@dunethar Hi, I'm the friend. Apologies in advance, I know many people don't like edits of their art or "fixes". This is not that, I just want to chime in a creative exchange I wouldn't be otherwise care about. I think maybe the "Homer Simpsons" muzzle isn't very horse-like? My two cents.
@LlamaGibby@Cretaceous27738 The problem is that's not what they established. They are shown thriving in all kinds of weather and some were taken to landmasses where that would be tricky or impossible. That they should suddenly die everywhere but a few tropical islands is a cop out.
@kyrazhuravel My view is not that it "takes" but rather than it "gives". It instructs the host's body how to build the chestburster, probably with some input of existing information in the body. It's like a tumor or a pregnancy, thats where the body-horror cromes from. Your body betraying you.
@ailantd They are related, but I'm not sure they are the same thing. Some businesses keep prices high and their wages low while the owners pocket a high revenues. Those might NOT raise the price of dishes DO increase salaries and still stay afloat. Varies case by case.
@NatSciChannel They look so heavy to me. We never get a clear sight of their flight in the movie, but here I can just tell, that bulky land predator body wouldn't soar with those tiny wings flapping. It's odd.
