Christina is also an active philanthropist, donating regularly over the years to victims of domestic violence and is an ambassador for the World Food Programme (WFP), visiting countries with high rates of malnutrion, including Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti and Rwanda. Christina helped raise over $148 million to the organization and other hunger relief agencies in 45 countries, earning her the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards and George McGovern Leadership Awards which she received in the White House from the former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton!
