@reumacia Lo segundo que debemos asumir es que si consideramos la Enf Psoriasica como un continuado ya el paciente con simtomasMSK es un paciente más complejo, con más daño, con más carga de inflamación, ósea nos tocó bailar con la/el más fea/o

CONGRESS | #ACR25 | PRESENTATION
Rodrigo Garcia-Salinas, Hospital Italiano La Plata, discusses findings from a prospective longitudinal cohort study investigating the therapeutic approach in patients with arthralgia at risk of progression to #PsA (ARP-PsA; N = 119).
A total of 44% of patients with ARP-PsA initiated treatment with NSAIDs (50%), csDMARD (48%), and corticosteroids (1%). Among these, 36% of patients met at least one high-risk criterion, with 60% receiving csDMARD (p = 0.04). At 1 year, 29% of patients developed PsA, of whom 62% were receiving csDMARD (p = 0.002).

🔬 New study by Dr. Rodrigo García Salinas et al.
💡D2M-#axSpA affects ~ 9% of patients in real-world clinical practice.
🧩Clinical and structural predictors such as psoriasis, smoking and joint damage are associated with D2M.
🧪Articular US is a key tool for identifying high-risk patients.

Late-Onset #AxSpA (lo-axSpA): A Distinct Subgroup?
📊 Key findings from the Reuma-check cohort:
✔️ 28% of axSpA cases started at ≥45 years.
✔️ More common in females (51%) & psoriasis (42%).
✔️ Lower NSAID response (52%) & HLA-B27 positivity (32%).
✔️ Shorter diagnosis delay (40 vs. 93 months) than early-onset axSpA
⚠️ lo-axSpA may require distinct diagnostic & treatment approaches.
