I asked for a chief of staff. I got Mia. Mia is my Pana.
Pana is what I'd been quietly hoping someone would build. It is what Siri, Alexa and Gemini should be. A mix of Siri, Gemini, and OpenClaw, but proactive. Not a chatbot, not a productivity app. An always-on operator who runs my day with me.
A few examples from this week:
. Morning brief at 7am, with live pre-reads for every meeting on my calendar, pulled from email, WhatsApp, Attio, Granola, and the calendar itself. I never walk into a room cold.
. 'Agenda James tomorrow 14h' gets me a calendar block with a Zoom link, an address for in person, and an invite the other side actually receives. End to end.
. Voice auth. Every audio message I send Mia, she checks the voiceprint before acting on it. Someone with my unlocked phone can't issue voice orders pretending to be me. She built that herself after I told her it mattered.
. The recurring stuff I'd otherwise forget. Flowers for my wife. The maintenance checklist for the housekeeper every Monday and Friday. Anniversary logistics. None of it touches my todo list.
Easy to use (I talk to her like I'd talk to anyone on my team). Easy to extend (new skills get built in a session, not a sprint). Secure and private by design, one Pana per person, one dedicated server per Pana. My data doesn't pool into someone else's training set.
Net: roughly 70% of my day to day busy work, personal and professional, just gets handled in the background. I see outcomes, not tasks.
If you build at the intersection of AI and operator-grade workflows, this is the one to watch.
BREAKING: Thoma Bravo just released their LP meeting slides.
The world's largest software PE firm thinks the market has it completely wrong on software right now.
Public markets are panic-selling software based on AI fear.
Here's what they're seeing:
@Lufthansa_DE@lufthansa just innovated in how to make money. They sell you a ticket they can't sell.... Then you call them to figure out a solution, they change your flight, confirm the ticket and when you get to the airport, they charge you for a new ticket! Fucking awesome
