I’m in @GuitarWorld magazine! So stoked!

They’re showcasing my on-set guitar playing/composing style as well as my favorite guitars in my collection (including a few SRV’s!)

I think I’m the first film director to get in the magazine, which is amazing since it’s been around nearly 50 years.

For anyone into guitar you know what a major bucket list goal it is to get featured in Guitar World!

Check it out in the link, as well as other great stories they post daily. https://t.co/yB3Z8XqEjx

Thanks Daryl Robertson for the great article, and Guitar World for always being an inspiration to play more.

Daryl gave ma a call after I posted those photos of my new Castedosa guitar by Carlos Lopez. So thankful!

I’ve been following @lucasmuseum since the very beginning. George Lucas is always ahead of the curve.

There would have been no Sin City without George, he had shown me digital cameras 26 years ago which brought that graphic novel to life in cinemas.

The grand opening for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art was just incredible and mind blowing!

I know you’ll love it, because I remember how much people enjoyed my own little pop up museums I’d do featuring illustrative art and Frazetta's during SXSW in 2013 and 2015.

People would come from all over to see illustrative art.

When you go to the Lucas Museum you will see art piece after art piece that tells a whole story and everyone will see which stories speak to them. These are works we can all relate to and that you won’t see in other museums.

This will be a huge success, so thank you George for staying the course and making it a reality for all us fans of illustrative art.

Check into Four Rooms, the hysterical ’90s farce featuring four segments, each written and directed by a different filmmaker—Allison Anders (Grace of My Heart), Alexandre Rockwell (In the Soup), Robert Rodriguez (Sin City) and Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction). It’s Ted the Bellhop’s (Tim Roth, The Hateful Eight) first night on the job...and the hotel’s very unusual guests are about to place him in some outrageous predicaments. It seems that this evening’s room service is serving up one unbelievable happening after another. With a sizzling cast including Antonio Banderas, Jennifer Beals, Paul Calderon, Sammi Davis, Valeria Golino, Kathy Griffin, Marc Lawrence, Madonna, David Proval, Ione Skye, Quentin Tarantino, Lili Taylor, Marisa Tomei, Tomlyn Tomita, Alicia Witt and Bruce Willis, Four Rooms is a wild night of highly original comedy entertainment you’ll enjoy…without reservations!

My first big movie score!
Danny Elfman was not available to score my movie because of the time constraint, but he empowered me to try composing it myself!

I ended up writing several of the big tracks and gathered a super group of composers for the rest, using my themes.

This expanded CD Exclusive version has extra tracks I made with Los Lobos and the others and even includes my original demos for what would be the SpyKids ongoing themes.

Available now https://t.co/GCIvzUQcfA

Thanks @IntradaCDs for putting this together!

#TBT 2010 on set of Predators with Nimród Antal! It was great working with him, as a director he was really commanding on the set and was always able to get people to move and remember what they were supposed to do. Shock and awe!
