It will take time but not impossible. What needs to come back is families several generations deep rooted in the community. Not leaving once you “make it out” or taking your kids out to go to a better district. It’s deeper than just sports, though winning teams do help!

Penn Hills Sports Lost More Than Games, It Lost Its Identity.

As a former Penn Hills athlete, I believe the biggest loss wasn’t on the scoreboard. It was the pride, loyalty, and sense of community that once defined Penn Hills.

That's more fans than you can fit inside PPG Paints Arena for a Penguins game.
