The Observer is being sold to Tortoise Media. My readers may recall that Tortoise funded the huge Dani Garavelli hit piece on Alex Salmond after his acquittal.

Tortoise is a deeply sinister CIA/neo-con instrument. It is funded by inter alia BP and the Gates and Rockefeller foundations and was co-founded by a former US Ambassador to the UK and David Cameron's former Head of the BBC, James Harding.

It is in no sense a "normal" news operation. It has multiple links to the "Philip Cross" Wikipedia editing operation. Tortoise has spooks written all over it.

As of course does the Guardian which is making the sale. This is a reshuffle of intelligence agency assets.
