We are thrilled to share positive topline data from our ELEVATE IPF Phase 2b trial evaluating deupirfenidone (LYT-100) for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (#IPF), a progressive and fatal lung disease.
Our trial met the primary and key secondary endpoints, with deupirfenidone demonstrating the potential to serve as a new standard of care. Over 26 weeks, the highest dose of deupirfenidone studied was generally well-tolerated and reduced lung function decline to levels that approach natural lung function decline in healthy adults over sixty—a first for any investigational or approved treatment for IPF.
We’re incredibly excited for what deupirfenidone could offer the IPF community, which urgently needs new treatment options with better efficacy that don’t compromise on tolerability.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in the ELEVATE IPF trial, including patients, caregivers, clinical trial sites, and advocacy groups. Your courage, dedication and expertise make progress possible, and we are grateful for your trust and partnership.
