Though control was lost, obviously good pressure! In an electrical system, this would be a direct to ground, or short. Under pressure- hydraulics- like electricity- takes the path of least resistance. Control the flow or there is no benefit, only problems. See video...
A few weeks ago I shared the hydraulic / electric analogy. One comment was both systems are pressurized, controlled environments. Came across a hydraulic system where "control" was lost. Unlike electrical systems, this is pretty obvious, wouldn't you say?
Why should you embrace Holiday lighting opportunities? To begin with, Holiday lighting isn't sporadic like weather based opportunities like snow removal & ice melt. Listed are some GREAT reasons to offer this steady, reliable, & growing category offering!
We are beginning to receive our many containers of our 2018 Holiday Lighting. NOW is the time to begin the conversation with your customers, lining up install & take down opportunities as this season's landscape needs wind down. Quality product packaged with install in mind!
Here are day & night images from the install. This is sure to be a hit among those seeking a more sophisticated, modern style path light the performs well at night.
Simply verify level, line the fixture head perpendicular to the surface to be lit, tighten the set screw & it's done! The convex lensing gives much better lateral light output than the flat lensing of competitive modern style products.
I like to wrap any extra wire around the conduit, close in to the fixture so that if I ever need to dig the fixture up to move it I don't cut the wire with a shovel. Once fixture is bottomed out onto the conduit, square the head over the surface & tighten the set screw down.
Time to slide the fixture over, on, & down. The 10' lead can ride alongside the conduit inside of the fixture, or you can channel the cable directly down through the conduit itself if using the optional surface mount.
I marked the mounting conduit 12" from bottom, leaving 18" inside the fixture. Used a 2lb hammer to pound the conduit into the ground- spot checking level in both directions while installing. My 5 yr old helped out so Dad could snap a few pics!
First unique aspect of this fixture is it's mounting. Given the off center balance this fixture is designed to be installed on a 30" length of 1" electrical conduit rather than standard stake. One end is angle cut for ease of installation. A surface mount is also available.
Showing is Selling. Our team @EwingIrrigation are armed with Demo kits, as well as excellent rep support @Danainnovations. We offer DEMO's to help convey the value immersive sound offers in enhancing any & all Outdoor Living environments. Ask Ewing for a demo in YOUR backyard!
The SR2-125 Sonarray amplifier is purpose built to provide perfect outdoor sound. The pre-programmed DSP presets can be adjusted to any landscape. The SONOS CONNECT is the ultimate in allowing your client to play THEIR music from THEIR device in THEIR own outdoor living oasis!
The 8- full range satellites finish the high fidelity sound field. By placing 4- left channel & 4- right channel satellites within the landscape- creating an acoustical bubble- you maximize the surround sound quality while minimizing sound pollution onto neighboring properties.
If the amplifier is the HEART of the SR1 system, the dual voice coil subwoofer is the MUSCLE! This deep base sub is typically buried within the landscape, with only the canopy exposed. Landscape provides camouflage. Placed against a back wall increases the bass effect.
The Sonarray SR1 sound system @danainnovations is PERFECTLY BALANCED, complete with an amplifier- PURPOSE BUILT for this system- to create the BEST immersive outdoor sound system available. This amplifier has the ability to drive TWO systems from a single amplifier. One will do!
The SR1 Sonarray sound system @Danainnovations is one of the BEST layers of lifestyle enhancement products you can add to outdoor living. While lighting extends your use of space into the night time hours, HIGH FIDELITY SOUND creates the desire to be IN that space!
Finally we connect basic electrical terminology with common irrigation vocabulary.
Low voltage is a high amperage environment, alien to most contractors. Knowing how the two systems are aligned allows you to design, install, & troubleshoot problems.
Summary- Here is the analogy laid out regarding irrigation design & corresponding lighting system design. Previous posts link the sources with a system. Many other factors are involved at the localized level, but knowing what to expect & how to measure ensure you'll succeed!
