@Excellentsalvic What are we trying to sell here?

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@SleeperMets Yes

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@SNY_Mets I like the way the kid swings a bat

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@JosephRandazzo @SteveGelbs Ah…..that no trade clause. You wanted him to stay when management wants him to leave? Think about those playing conditions. Sometimes it’s just not about the money. It’s about pride and Nimmo certainly has enough of that.

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@SteveGelbs Mendoza has to see all this for himself. With all the money invested, maybe he has orders to follow. At the same time, they need the kids to continue to step up.Will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@HowieRose @metsradio880 I’ll take 5-5 and that will be enough, up by 2 at this point.

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@MetsdUp They are missing Lindor, physically and spiritually. McNeil out hurts as well. I hate to say that we’re done but it’s looking that way. Polar bear 🐻‍❄️ has been a major disappointment in the clutch. We need help from the “higher ups “ and I don’t mean management.

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@HowieRose @Mets He was 17 when I saw him play at the Polo Grounds. He was the young promise of things to come.

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@TheWardyNYM Another low risk high potential move that might surprise some folks in Flushing. This guy is making some noise in https://t.co/pzDvVdCLNl we used to say at the bakery 🥯, “Get ‘em while they’re hot!

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@AmishCountryMet Good point 👍

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@MetsMuse I’m not ready to give up on this guy but where do you put him?

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@WE_ARE_MET_FANS I am still in shock that Mendoza had McNeil bunting in the 9th. This is the 2nd time he’s taken the bat out of his hands in a key situation. The flying squirrel has been money since the All Star break. I think this game just did us in.

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@jcrasnick Part of the family. Sorry for your loss.

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@JeffEisenband Hawk Tuah girl throwing out the first pitch? Nice move in front of all those young day campers. No wonder that the Mets sucked today 😵‍💫

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@SNY_Mets Love this guy. Always did .Wink Wink!!👀👀

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@SNY_Mets @SteveGelbs Today’s fielding by Alonso is reason enough to trade him or let him walk. Just not worth the money he wants at his age and ability. Bring it on. I’m listening 👂

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@DannyAbriano For my money, he’s been worth every penny. The guy leads by example. I also see him pumping up his teammates and lends an ear when they’re in distress. I’m thinking Pete, for one,when he gets down .

[Roger Golden @RogerRoger12789]

@DannyAbriano Amen to that 👍

[Danny Abriano @DannyAbriano]

In the last 15 minutes for the Mets…

*Edwin Diaz looked like 2022 Edwin Diaz

*Francisco Lindor gave them a chance in the 9th before J.D. Martinez cashed in

That is a potentially massive win for a team trying to prove it deserves to stay together
