@Waddenmeis@sj_pete Where I live, I can do so as long as I can identify myself at the voting place using one of the approved national ID options (passport, national ID card or drivers license). It is registered that I voted, and that is it. No one else can vote as me.
@Draggen75@joshrogin What happened to your punctuation? If you want someone to read what you wrote, and understand what you are trying to say, you really should make an effort to make your texts comprehensible.
@FoxProMAGA@donwinslow Considering all the news and SoMe posts regarding Canada, Greenland, tariffs, vaccines, wars and stolen elections: Have you seen any real amount of news regarding food safety? Regarding banning additives, hormones and ultra processed food? It does not seem to be a priority…
@113_destiny@Rep_Stansbury Instead, they should think they are in a Middle East dictatorship, with a dictator so fragile he has to cover everything with gold to appear successful and popular.
@FoxMillDem@atrupar I visited one of Microsoft’s data centers. They had a small staff monitoring 80,000 servers (it’s all automated), and a few tech guys swapping out bad disks etcetera. Servers live for 3 years, then they are retired with minimal human interaction while in service.
@James0398139821@glenn_tunes You sure do know your history! 🤦
The time before surrendering or signing an armistice in WWII:
The Netherlands: 5 days
Belgium: 18 days
Poland: about 4 weeks
France: 6 weeks
Norway: 2 months.
Germanys first real defeat in WWII took place in Narvik, Norway.
@SenJohnHoeven Why not focus on the more than 70000 wildfires in the Us every year?
Or maybe make sure all US citizens have fresh, clean drinking water? By that doesn’t fit the «Let’s criticize Canada» agenda, I guess…
@kingtraitin19@Tfreema94181255 One month of World Cup concentrated around 11 US stadiums can’t reverse the effect on all of the US travel and service industry. Or do these 11 cities pay a share of their earnings to every other city, town village or sightseeing target that has lost out due to Trump’s tariffs?
@MattHausmannAtx@gerard__ap@bankertobuilder Oh no! You have to walk?!? What have the world come to?
People all around the world use public transportation (or walk, run, bike) to work, but the American society and dream have been created around the car, so the thought of walking seems preposterous in the US.
@gerard__ap@bankertobuilder If you are going back and forth to work, you might as well use public transport.
One of those trains in the picture could replace several hundred cars. With trains running regularly during rush hour, there would be no need to add car lanes.
It’s just an adjustment of mindset.
@CovidEraCaveman@FabrizioRomano@MickyJnr__ Said the guy from India, where extreme heatwaves, erratic monsoons, and rising sea levels are results of climate change. Millions of workers face dangerous temperatures, melting Himalayan glaciers threaten water supplies, and severe floods disrupt agriculture and communities.
@Ferdy25058539@TrumpTruthOnX By the end of Trump’s term, the US won’t be a part of the free world. Domestically, the US will be a dictatorship, and the free world will have reorganized.
@TrumpTruthOnX How could someone cut a 300 yard long slash without being noticed? In order to do so, the perp would have to be wading around in the pool for quite some time, ducking down like a bird diving for fish. How could no one see this and react?
@katsuxbt He’s left with 8,000,000 a year to spend (living has been accounted for already). That is 40,000,000 after 5 years. If he can’t make that last a lifetime he has a serious spending (or drinking/drug/gambling problem). Invest the money wisely, and he can live off interest only.
