@GasBuddyGuy “people in office openly misrepresent reality to Americans”. They do it all the time, no matter the subject. Today it’s gas prices. Tomorrow it’s something else.
@mrsriddim @crunchy0ats@FutbolJan10 I think the overall strategy of holding possession is overrated. If you’re close, take a shot. Get a rebound, get a deflection, make shit happen. Teams play 90 minutes with a couple of shots on goal. Gretzky, “you miss all the shots you don’t take.”
@mrsriddim @crunchy0ats@FutbolJan10 I’ve seen many players make moves to get the perfect shot or make a pass when they had a shot. The attitude seems to be to NOT shot at the goal. Makes zero sense. Saw examples today where a rebound resulted in a goal. But that approach is rare.
@crunchy0ats@FutbolJan10 This is why soccer sucks. Dude is looking for the perfect setup instead of making an aggressive move forward. Imagine a 2 on 1 in hockey where the guy with the puck slows down to let the defense back into the play. This shit happens all the time in soccer.
@MrGameHunter Nope. Totally out coached. They lost four games where they led or it was tied with two minutes to go. Not to mention all the other leads they blew. Young team that needed coaching leadership and didn’t get it. Knicks took advantage. Good on them.
@DezNutsBeCrazy@leeap52@BCRittmeyer@GasBuddyGuy By not allowing two smaller companies to merge, the big 4 airlines remain in a dominating position. They have 75% of the US market. As is often the case, the government’s actions have the opposite effect than they intended.
@DezNutsBeCrazy@leeap52@BCRittmeyer@GasBuddyGuy None of that was part of the Biden administration’s lawsuit blocking the merger. You and I can argue the business case for or against the merger but that’s not something the government did or should do.
