@gobills11111@BobEUnlimited In my area, residential has the lowest rates, business is next, followed by industrial pays the most!
So even in the event that were adding generation capacity, that will be used by all their paying the Lions share.
🙋♂️Economics undergrad and finance major here (sorry, not journalism)
No matter who took over after a sudden stop then restart of global economy that shifted the demand for good vs services materially was going to have high inflation. Nobody with a brain can dispute otherwise. Could we have managed to pull back fiscally sooner, sure. But lets see a chart of what country came out of covid shock quickest..... the US. if it peaked 1-2% lower is splitting hairs.
Its completely disengenous intellectually, economically and factually to argue the foundation of the inflationary environment Biden dealt with wasnt a result of the fiscal stimulus started under Trump.
I mean it is a fact that Bill Pulte signed under oath that his business would not survive without the PPP loan he took and never repaid. You cant have both, right. Guys like Pulte begging for money to survive, begging for fiscal stimulus then say it wasnt needed.
A reporter would probably ask a cabinet member why he was unable to repay and why he needed fiscal stimulus to survive as he attested to.
@RealRickRule Totally agree, I probably could have worded my first comment much clearer.
And I totally guess that the real problem is on the spending side. Just looking at the numbers anyone should be able to see that but many don't want to see that.
I've yet to see a tax break that pays for itself which is usually what's promised. I do agree there's times to use them to stimulate the economy but they should be temporary and rolled back after a set and hopefully short period of time.
At this point it's so convoluted I'm game for flat tax with income brackets.
Perception it what matters, when I was young, graduated HS 78, my likely Baby making years were during the 80s. I was raised to be responsible and therefore never felt secure financially to have kids. 1982 unemployment hit 10% the highest since the depression.
The times shaped my thinking and perception. I totally get why people are not comfortable having kids.
So the majority that have them are the ones that are not responsible parents.
It's another unintended consequence of income inequality. IMO
Sure seems like grok has gotten worse lately.
I just went through over a dozen iterations just to get a chart that didn't have repeated or bad data in it even after pointing it out come back with the same BS.
When I ask grok to clarify or explain things, comes back with quoting what other people said and not actually addressing my question.
The United States has spent EIGHT TRILLION DOLLARS fighting and policing in the Middle East. Thousands of our Great Soldiers have died or been badly wounded. Millions of people have died on the other side. GOING INTO THE MIDDLE EAST IS THE WORST DECISION EVER MADE.....
I mean what's your describing happens to every country that has power.
I don't support the gassing of their own people like Bashir did.
I don't support gunning down protesters like the Ayatollah did.
I don't support what happened in tiananmen square...
I Do support window technicians in Russia, unfortunately too many people keep falling out of windows there...
@TheApeOfGoldST Well if that was all it was, they wouldn't be so intent on keeping the territory.
Russias attack is what has weakened Russia, Russia could no longer support Syria that bright shining country that it was....
So I certainly thank Zelenskyy for the fall of that nice man Bashir. 🤮
