I will definitely miss expressing how much I loathe NDSU football to Bison-fanatic @Erik_Swanson03 and talking about my favorite places in Vauxhall, Alberta with @adaaam_15
As Scott Servais indicated postgame last night, the Mariners will be show-and-go today, with no on-field batting practice or extended pregame meetings. It's an effort to "relax a little bit."
"Just roll it out there and play. Kind of like you did when you were in Little League."
OSU's Brandon Kipper just made a fiery speech at the postgame presser:
"If there's one thing I can tell you is that we will grow from this, we will learn from this, this is just the beginning of our story... There is no doubt in our mind that we ain't gonna see them again."
Scott Servais on the Mariners' three-game skid:
"We're a little bit of a [๐ฉ] storm right now, so to speak. We just haven't played that well, like we're capable of. Part of it has been they've shut us down offensively, but we've got to get it going. It's just where we're at."
Ty France on why home-plate umpire Ted Barrett ejected him shortly after a 4th-inning ๊:
"All I said was, 'All three strikes you called were balls.' And he asked me what I said, so I repeated that, and he ejected me from there."
