“You see Gilberto Mora from Tijuana, they will not sell him for less than 15 million,” Chicharito said.

“So there's a lot of things there. I'm not saying that now it's the director's responsibility, it's a country thing.
“If you want your country to do better, we ALL have to improve and be better, all of us.
“The system, whoever leads the system, and then the steps down there. You don't tell the players or to the fans, if you want to call them. So it's a mix of them.
“So now Mexico, like I said, not because I was there. Take me out of the equation in the Russia World Cup. It's the best generation ever in Mexico.

Dumfries is everything Mourinho usually loves in that position physical, aggressive, dominant in duels, relentless runner, strong in the air, and tactically disciplined. Those are exactly the kinds of profiles that appeal Mourinho. Mourinho has never been the type of coach who prioritizes a full-back’s creativity over defensive security. Even Marcelo was on the bench at some point under Mourinho.
For Real Madrid, the attraction is even obvious. Their squad is packed with technical players Bellingham, Vinícius and Mbappé. If you have all that you need players that can give you security off the ball, and What they sometimes lack on the right side is a pure athletic monster who can provide width, attack the far post, and win physical duels. Dumfries gives you something different.
For Mourinho, Dumfries is almost a classic Mourinho player
Strong mentally
Disciplined tactically
Reliable defensively
Direct rather than flashy
Thrives in transition football
Excellent as a wing-back in a back three
In fact, if you look at many of Mourinho’s best teams, he has often loved powerful full-backs and wing-backs who can dominate physically rather than purely technically.
The only question at Real Madrid would be the system. Dumfries is arguably at his best as a right wing-back in a 3-5-2 or 3-4-3, like he plays for Inter Milan. In a traditional back four, some of his limitations in tight spaces and build-up play become more noticeable.
