CEBU OKS ADDITIONAL AID TO QUAKE-STRICKEN MINDANAO PROVINCES

JUST IN: The Cebu Provincial Board approved an additional ₱25 million in financial assistance for four provinces in Mindanao affected by the June 8 earthquake during the 17th regular session of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan on Monday, June 15.

The approved aid package includes ₱10 million for Sarangani and ₱5 million each for Davao del Sur, Davao Occidental, and South Cotabato, bringing Cebu’s total authorized assistance to earthquake-hit areas in Mindanao to ₱35 million, including the ₱10 million earlier granted to General Santos City. | via Lyle Andales #CDNDigital
