If you only knew how far a man would go for a woman he genuinely wants, you’d be disgusted with yourself for all the begging, compromising, and excuses you made just to get the bare minimum. 😭
Watching someone move on so quickly after discarding you is humbling. Seeing how easily they let you go, forget about you, and find happiness with someone new makes you question whether they lack basic human decency or genuine emotions. I can’t understand how someone can cause another person so much pain, hurt, and trauma without ever considering the damage they’ve left behind. At least it helps you see them for who they really are and finally move on.

Sometimes you have to be honest with yourself and say, "I'm not loved here. I'm not appreciated. I'm not valued. I'm not seen. Then walk away and stay away.
With the right person, arguments will always end in both people apologizing, both people accepting accountability, both people making promises to do better no matter whose fault it is; that's mutual growth. But to be able to find this is rarer than a diamond in a coal mine.
