@flasportsbuzz This is very similar to when Messi came to Miami. It’s not just that you’re getting a fantastic player, but that his presence will attract other great players looking to win. I can’t see this as anything other than a win for the Heat.
@FishOnFirstPod@IsaacAzout I suppose the real question is…would the Marlins be better off, offensively, with Ramirez at first and Norby going down to AAA to work on his swing?
@Kyle_Sielaff I’m especially happy for Troy Johnston who is now thrilled to be with a winner! The Rockies are only 10.5 games from the wildcard and fighting with the Angels for the worst record in baseball.
@MiamiMarlins_UK The Rockies are way at the bottom. Whatever happened to the bravado from Troy Johnston? I thought he was happy to now be with a winner.
@flasportsbuzz My bet is that DirecTV will add channel 10 back to their lineup before the start of the NBA season just like they added WSFL right before the start of hockey season when the Panthers moved to free TV.
@flasportsbuzz I get why fans of big-spending teams hate the idea of limits, and I get the players’ side too. But MLB risks losing fans if only a few teams every year feel viable. Barring a miracle, the Marlins and many others will never be able to spend or compete like the Dodgers or Yankees.
@AdamPollack49@Marlins You took that way too literally. Nobody was questioning where MLB players come from. The point was that the Marlins currently look more like a AAA team than a major league one.
