So @Ford @FordPro @jimfarley98 I guess that it’s acceptable for a transmission to last only 90k miles with light use. This is good to know. Makes it much easier to decide which brand of vehicles not to ever get or recommend. It’s sad that there’s zero customer support besides

Hello, I have a 2019 Transit Connect that I purchased new, has only 91k miles on it that my Ford dealership has diagnosed a faulty transmission & said that it needs to be replaced at the cost of $8900. Is this acceptable?

It has never towed anything or ever carried any heavy cargo. It’s been well maintained. Based on simple internet searches, this is a very common and known issue to everyone except@ford. DM me for the claim number and VIN.
