@StacyPatton89 Hopefully he plays. It's a broken pinkie. With some more days to heal and a splint (and the fact that we don't need him to shoot), Mitch should be able to provide most of his value out there on D.
@DavidFurones_ Knicks just systematically destroyed the best in the East, and you think that equates to getting smoked in the finals? Indy wasnt looking this good last year and took OKC 7. GTFO with this clickbait.
@elishuahoward@theblockspot Nobody was saying any of these teams were weak until the Knicks destroyed them. Also, Knicks didn't just win by one possession. They thoroughly destroyed them like they were lottery teams.
@tschwartz09@Falcons187Web How you win is a mark of team dominance. Pretending there is no difference between a team who wins every game by 5 and every game by 15 is insane lol.
I want to congratulate New York Knicks Head Coach Mike Brown, superstar Jalen Brunson, star Karl Anthony Towns, and the entire Knicks organization for advancing to the NBA Finals after sweeping the Cleveland Cavaliers!
I am so incredibly happy for Knicks fans.
1994 was one of the most gut-wrenching Finals losses in NBA history.
Not getting back again until 1999, when Ewing had a torn Achilles and they were close to drawing dead to the Duncan-Robinson Spurs was a different type of cruelty.
And somehow never truly coming close in any season since then should have just been unfathomable. Instead, it was entirely predictable and at various times they were a national punch line.
To turn this season around from what it seemed like it was going to be (another promising but inevitably disappointing season), into what it became (the single most dominant month of playoff basketball from a margin of victory standpoint in the history of the NBA), is truly remarkable.
I am picking the Knicks in the Finals but more importantly Iโll be rooting for the Knicks in the Finals.
The NYC hoops fans deserve this moment.
